The Writer's Right
On the road again….
I spent the entire day yesterday on the road. First my mom and I drove to the NY state line to get an adorable pug named Lil’ Rascal, given up for “allergies.“ He’s almost three and adorable. (Pictures later.) Then I drove back to central CT to get Boots, a seven month old pug named Boots, surrendered for the same reason. Boots is a little scared and Rascal looked so sad. These poor babies!
Then the four of us drove up to Auburn, MA to hand them off to a wonderful PPRA volunteer. They are now safe and sound, awaiting new homes.
Today Murphy, Bonnie and I are headed up to MA to see Beth and Paul and the boys for a little post-Thanksgiving get together. Yeah! (This means I need to get in the shower and prepared for another drive, but it’ll be so worth it!)
Phew!
I was exhausted last night, and had every intention of going to bed early. But then I was on the phone for nearly four hours. Who knew Batman could talk like that. :::wink wink::: Yup, you made it in the blog again.
